The Automatic Demand Response Server (Auto-DR) software from ITRI, named by ICL_VTN 2.0b Driver, enables efficient OpenADR 2.0 standards based communication between utilities, energy service providers, and DR resources. It has provided the automatic demand response functions by integrating with the HEMS system and a central energy management system. It joins the demonstration of the demand response in Penghu, Taiwan. This system allows customizations depending on its local characteristics and enables to interoperate with other external/internal systems, such as any kinds of Energy Management System (xEMS), Customer Information System (CIS), Metering Data Management System (MDMS), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), electricity market and etc. ITRI supports development of DR automation server systems for each customer.
