Plimoth Bay Controls OpenADR 2,0b Certified Equinox and SunSense Energy Management Systems

The PBC Equinox EMS is a low cost and fully functioning network based energy management system which provides discrete control functionality for lighting, HVAC and variable frequency drives. The control functionality consists of multifunction scheduling, sensor input response, manual operator interface and remote demand curtailment through public and private Demand Response Automated Servers. Automated demand response functionality is capable of customized load reductions with lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation as well as any VFD driven motor. The system is capable of integrating with our revenue grade metering system which provides the end user with both instant analysis of their energy saving strategies and a continuous log of power consumption and performance. The system can integrate with both wired or wireless sensors and thermostats utilizing a Wi-Fi network.

The system is network based but does not require the internet or cloud to complete any of its core control functions. It also does not require the use of any proprietary software as the unit may be accessed using any web browser with static or DHCP IP address.
