TOSHIBA-VPP is a demand response client software developed by TOSHIBA ESS (Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation), which enables demand response service, communicating with demand response server VTN (Virtual Top Node). It is OpenADR 2.0b compliant VEN (Virtual End Node), developed on Java and applied to multi-platform. It has been provided as a TOSHIBA ESS’s product and service since 2017.

TOSHIBA-VPP WEB API offers REST APIs that enable the development of applications that uses OpenADR 2.0b VEN profile.

It has been provided as a TOSHIBA ESS’s service since 2020.

TOSHIBA ESS also provides third-party developers with supports for the development of a DR automation server system.
