Universal Devices, Inc. | ISYEM/3 ISY Energy Monitor 3
Universal Devices’ ISYEM/3 or Energy Monitor 3 is a proven, low cost, standalone and complete energy management, monitoring and automation system. Natively supporting both the OpenADR 2.0a and 2.0b standards, the autonomous ISYEM/3 can grow with your utilities’ demands, without ever worrying about stranded assets. With built-in KYZ communications or dual pulse counters and 5 optional CT sensors the ISYEM/3 can report real time usage from traditional meters and electrical panels. When optionally equipped with ZigBee SEP the ISYEM/3 can read smart meters directly. Because the ISYEM/3 uses the same proven technology as the ISY994 series, the ISYEM/3 is a complete energy and building management system in addition to supporting legacy EMS/BMS systems with its built-in relays. When optionally equipped, the ISYEM/3 is capable of communicating with a variety of off-the-shelf devices using Z-Wave, ZigBee, INSTEON, A10/X10, and Network IP protocols. When included in the OpenADR reporting group, most off the shelf devices will report their settings and usage automatically in 2.0b reports, an industry first feature. The ISYEM/3 meets or exceeds Homeland Security SCATA 1.8 compliance when the optional high security profile is enabled. The ISYEM/3 is accessible, configurable, and updatable through a variety of mobile and desktop devices, yet securely is positioned behind the customer’s firewall.
